Hello Burger Fans!
These past weeks much of the Huggy’s Bar family has been mobilised for a project close to our hearts: an exceptional collaboration with chocolatier Galler. We had long dreamed of marrying the American world of burgers with Belgian chocolate, that signature that represents Belgium around the world. And now it’s a reality! Over many meetings with Galler’s research and development department we found an original, tasty and coherent recipe. A great success and a world first!

Loïc, R&D manager at Galler, tells us how the collaboration unfolded: “We all had lots of ideas, but above all we wanted a bun made with cocoa beans – that was definitely our starting point! Then we reworked the delicious THB meat, which we wanted to be very distinctive, and added a sauce to the burger that recalls the bitterness of cocoa.”
Thomas, co‑founder of the Huggy’s Bar, adds: “With this totally innovative creation we’re pushing the boundaries of the burger world while championing our local products! It was a very enriching collaboration on many levels.”

To complete this wonderful encounter we were lucky enough to visit Galler’s production workshop, see how our favourite chocolates are made and taste ingredients straight from the source. This immersion enabled our teams to better understand the work behind each bar and to bring that expertise into the burger.
The result is a limited‑edition burger with a cocoa‑bean bun, subtly chocolatey meat and a hint of bitterness in the sauce. Chocolate lovers and burger lovers alike – get ready to be surprised. It’s only available for a short time, so don’t miss out!
