The HUGGYS Family

Even before starting his adventure at HUGGYS, Fred made a memorable entrance by going to the wrong restaurant for his first interview. Despite this little blunder, he quickly showed that he had burgers in his blood. Today, he is a Senior Manager and the team’s second dad.

Nicolas started his career under the spotlights… literally. Trained as an actor, he even set up a theatre with his former classmates. Today, he has swapped the stage for burger boards and manages one of our restaurants. He hasn’t totally abandoned the theatre: he continues to host our team‑building events.

Eve is a bit like Obelix. She fell into the HUGGYS cauldron when she was young and never left. Arriving as a student, she finished her studies and ultimately continued her adventure at HUGGYS 3 where she is now manager. After all this time, she remains just as much a burger fan and embodies the superwoman of our team!

Dimitri’s beginnings within the HUGGYS Family were somewhat atypical! Although everyone’s start is different, it’s quite rare to begin your first day at a festival! That’s what happened to our national Dimitri. Since 2014, he has been taking care of HUGGYS 5 in Awans and HUGGYS Atelier full time. He’s always ready to relive the great festival debut.

Lionnel will always welcome you with his usual good humour. However, watch out for the shower! Much as we adore him, we have to admit that he’s a real disaster when it comes to keeping to a timetable. He’s always the last one out of the shower… But once he’s ready, he nails it! He is the Senior Manager of HUGGYS 2.

Jonathan, manager of HUGGYS 7, has a long experience in the HoReCa sector. During an internship in a hotel in Brussels, he had to serve Steven Spielberg. He only realised it once the service was over. He then decided to give burgers a chance and come back to HUGGYS. He is now known for his speed and efficiency.

As a fan of HUGGYS for many years, I was happy and eager to start working as a manager. Unfortunately, I had to be hospitalised urgently just before my first day… I didn’t give up and came back in top shape two weeks later. HUGGYS 12: here I come!

When he started in 2014, Benoit had to be persistent! Because of his lack of kitchen experience, our team hesitated for a long time before hiring him. After a bit of insistence, he finally joined the HUGGYS adventure and has never left! Perseverance pays off!

Despite appearances, Pierre is a former high‑level karateka! He was a member of the national team for 8 years, 13‑time Belgian champion and even in the WKF world top 5. Fortunately for us, he has put his brain and technique at the service of the HUGGYS Family. He looks after the strategic and financial development of the group in sensei mode.

When it comes to managing HUGGYS 12 & 13, we can count on David. On the other hand, don’t count on him for manual work in his restaurant. He’s already called Roberto to help change a light bulb or even contacted Thomas for a computer problem! Fortunately, he’s an incredible manager and masters the art of the burger.

Arriving in 2017 as a student, Maxime has evolved superbly within the HUGGYS Family to become first manager of HUGGYS 3 and finally Senior Manager. Given his seniority, he no longer counts the fun times with the team, whether it’s a bicycle race in the restaurant or waking up in the kitchen. Today, he keeps the loveliest smile, especially when he eats fries.

Arriving at HUGGYS in 2016, Juliette wanted to maximise her chances by applying not only to HUGGYS 1 but also to HUGGYS 4 thirty minutes apart. Eventually hired at HUGGYS 4, she reunited a year later with the HUGGYS 1 team where she still works today. Since then, she has become a Senior Manager and the queen of TikToks.

Trained as a sports coach, Laura joined the Huggy’s Family in 2020. So taken with the values and atmosphere at HUGGYS, she decided to stay and continue serving the best burgers in Belgium. In addition to managing HUGGYS 7 & 8, Laura has a hidden talent… She becomes the most beautiful dancer during our team parties.

If you have ever come to taste a burger in our restaurant in Gerpinnes, you must have come across Tristan. Back then, he became head chef despite a rather bloody interview. After cutting his hand, Tristan finished his interview with his hand wrapped in toilet paper and a plastic bag around it! Since then, everything’s been fine (he’s removed the plastic) and he continues to lead his team with a firm hand.

Thomas, one of the two founders, is the big boss of HUGGYS. He is responsible for the vision and sets the pace for the whole organisation, ensuring that we spread happiness to the max!

Roberto, or Bob to his friends, is the second founder of the concept. With his analytical and rational mind, he takes care of all aspects of the group’s financing and projects, managing cash flow and the figures. However, his biggest mission remains teaching novices how to make the best Belgian beer carbonnade, his favourite dish.

Vi is the creative spirit of HUGGYS! Thanks to her talents, all our burgers are so good and our restaurants so beautiful. She draws her creativity mainly from her travels around the world. She believes that everyone is entitled to their own little secret sauce and thanks to her there’s something for every taste!

Jo is our guardian of customer satisfaction and the flawless implementation of the concept by the restaurants! Thanks to his expert eye, he ensures that all restaurants and our burgers are prepared by the book and that the HUGGYS concept and values are passed on as faithfully as possible.

Here is our kitchen expert! Arnaud is Julien's partner for the 'Kitchen' side. From creating burgers to choosing equipment, and even training our super cooks, everything goes through him. Watch out or he'll cut you off (but it's for a good cause). He only stops to savour a vegan burger after a long day.

Pascou, to those close to her, manages the accounts of all our restaurants and ensures the proper management of the entire HUGGYS group. Her calculator is therefore never far away, and it’s said she even takes it out during her holidays. She is said to be the most organised of the Family.

Nico’s mission is to guarantee that every burger is designed, served and enjoyed in the best technical conditions possible. He is easily the most solicited person on the team whenever a fridge breaks down or an oven flashes. Like a dad, he watches over his restaurants and ensures they run like clockwork.

Flo is responsible for all the analytics concerning the performance of our restaurants. She provides management with all the data and analyses needed for informed decisions. But make no mistake, she’s also a food and brunch lover – brunch time is sacred for her.

Pauline also ensures the good management of the group as she holds the position of accountant. Although super enthusiastic about joining the HUGGYS Family, when she submitted her application she went to the wrong place and almost lost her chance to join the Family. In the end, all’s well that ends well and she’s the one who manages all the meal vouchers today.

Ludivine is a fervent HUGGYS fan! Even though she visited several of our restaurants, it’s the one on Boulevard d’Avroy that she knows best. She spent many lunch breaks there and quickly became addicted. Then she decided to join the HUGGYS Family and worked her way up to manage one of our restaurants.

Marine, head of the marketing department, ensures the smooth running of all our strategic and digital actions. Despite her impressive profile, our marketing guru hides a big secret. She holds the record for the biggest blunder at HUGGYS, but she’s also one of the hardest workers in the family! She won’t say no to a burger after a long day.

An eternal foodie, Jessica still wonders why she didn’t join the HUGGYS Family sooner. She finally took the plunge and joined our team as accounting secretary. Her central role makes her management’s saviour. If you meet her, don’t forget to talk to her about our desserts – she never refuses them.

Alice is so addicted to HUGGYS that before even joining our offices, she was already working there as a flexi! She swapped her place in the kitchen for managing all our social networks and writing all of our content. Strolling on TikTok while savouring a delicious burger – a real joy in her eyes!
