2016, it was…
Hello Burger Fans,
The year 2017 has just poked its head out, and before diving into it with our 56 new projects, we thought it was important to do a little retrospective of 2016, which was particularly fabulous for us at Huggy’s Bar.
In 2016 we opened two magnificent restaurants: Le THB4, our flagship in Liège, and THB5 located right in the middle of the Roua Shopping Center in Awans. That made some people happy 😉
In 2016 we were crowned Liège Employers of the Year (and we met Charles Michel 😉). A prize that goes straight to our hearts when we know how much energy we put into making sure the employés du THB are part of a big family and can flourish in their work.
In 2016 we did some exceptional collaborations, firstly with the Lapraille Burger, which let us see our old friend Julien again, and secondly with the Galler Burger, which made real chocolate lovers drool… We learned lots of things, improved our culinary knowledge and met passionate and fascinating people (Jean Galler is really very funny!)
In 2016 we also launched our new Hot‑Dog brand: Huggy’s Dogs! Well… ‘launched’ is a big word. We announced its upcoming opening! We’re still looking for a central location for all the people of Liège passing through town who get a little (big) hunger. We’re bringing the authentic Hot‑Dog up to date: tasty and indulgent! And to finish this year rich in new things, in 2016 we met the charming Maurane of “Chroniques d’une Accro au resto”. In addition to launching a very enticing contest (won by Emilie and Alexandre, you lucky devils!), we had front‑row seats to watch her devour 3 (THREE!) Burgers live… And frankly, it was rather delightful 😉
