Recipe: the Smoky Burger

Hello Burger Fans.

Here’s another legendary recipe straight from the THBlog: the Smoky Burger. This burger is all about bold flavours and a hint of BBQ smoke.

Smoky Burger recipe (serves 2)

Ingredients

  • 2 burger buns
  • 2×150 g ground beef
  • Salt & pepper
  • Smoky BBQ sauce
  • 2×2 slices of smoked cheese
  • 2×2 slices of bacon
  • Caramelised onions
  • Pickles
  • A handful of rocket

Preparation

  • Cook the patties and season. Melt the smoked cheese on top during the last minute of cooking.
  • Fry the bacon until crispy and caramelise the onions.
  • Toast the buns. Assemble: bun base, patty with melted cheese, bacon, caramelised onions, pickles, rocket and plenty of smoky BBQ sauce. Close with the top bun.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy the smoky flavours.
