New: the Black {C} collaboration with Brasserie C

Hello Burger Fans,

Last Thursday marked a turning point in the history of Brasserie CTHBeer and THB Pils. It launched the Black {C} and, for the occasion, worked with the young mural painter NOIR, aka Lucien Gilson. If the name doesn’t ring a bell, think back to the David Bowie mural painted in Liège the day after his death – that was him! Still not sure? Take a stroll through Parc de la Boverie and keep your eyes open 😉 And no, we’re not talking about Pokémon this time!

The Huggy’s Bar team was of course there for the event. Because honestly, we can resist the call of the sun, but resisting the lure of a cold beer during a heat wave, sipped in an idyllic setting with good company… let’s not be holier than the Pope!

But what about the Black {C}?
It’s a stout – a beer made by heavily roasting the barley and malt, which gives it a caramelised, slightly coffee‑like flavour to balance the pronounced bitterness. As a beer pairing at the Huggy’s Bar, we’re serving it with our
Crunchy Cheeseburger, Burger du Terroir and Galler Burger (announced for winter!).

Fun fact: NOIR designed the Black {C} label live during the launch, creating a one‑of‑a‑kind piece. The bottles are works of art in themselves!

Whether you’re a stout fan or just curious, we highly recommend tasting this new creation from our friends at Brasserie C. And as always, don’t forget to reserve a table to pair it with a burger!
