For more than 30 years, the Sudmedia group has honoured each year the personalities who have distinguished themselves. The candidates are divided into 5 different categories: “Culture, media, people”, “Citizenship”, “Sport”, “Unusual”, and “Economy/start‑up”. Each category has 3 candidates and one winner. 🏆

The décor, our staff, our 43 Burger recipes, a super‑quality music playlist, etc.; everything is designed to give you a unique experience from the moment you push open the door of one of our 11 Huggy’s. Real Homemade Burgers!

Our menu consists, for your taste buds’ pleasure, of more than 40 Burgers! 🍔 The choice can sometimes seem difficult among this crowd of delicious Burgers.

You’re probably wondering how Huggy’s manages to cook such delicious Burgers? Well, for our Burgers, in addition to the involvement of local players, the selection of the best ingredients and hundreds of hours of R&D to create the best recipes, our staff carefully takes the time to make everything homemade! (yes yes, we know you’re still dreaming of the recipe for our THB sauce). 👌

Beer Pairing

Our beers are brewed in an artisanal way by the famous Brasserie C. Together we developed the first beer for Burgers in the world: THBEER©. A real little wonder that pairs perfectly with the flavours of grilled meat and melted Cheddar. This THBEER is of course accompanied by a slew of other house beers ranging from IPA, to triple or fruity, and even a new low‑alcohol one, THBEER Lite. Enough to delight beer and Burger fans. 🍔🍻

The Huggy’s Bar works hand in hand with local players such as our historic butcher Marc Schmitz, Brasserie C, Maison Real, etc. Working with these artisans allows us to guarantee the quality of the products used in all our Burgers, our THBEERs, etc. Suppliers in whom we have blind trust, and have done for a long time! 🤝

The Huggy’s Bar has also been able to collaborate with superb Belgian companies like the Belgian Owl distillery to create the THB whisky! 😍🥃

We are well aware that our Burger Fans have diets as varied as our number of Burgers. To suit everyone, we have developed various alternative offerings: vegetarian, vegan and gluten‑free.

For vegetarians, we offer the THB Veggie Burger composed of a homemade veggie patty, and always with our delicious Irish Cheddar. 🙌 For vegans, the famous Vegan BBQ Burger is made with our homemade vegan patty and homemade vegan BBQ sauce. 😚 Eating at Huggy’s when you’re intolerant to gluten couldn’t be easier! Enjoy your Burger in a 100% Gluten‑Free version thanks to our burger bun specially designed for us by our friends at the artisanal bakery L’Alternative! Nothing is too good for our Burger Fans! 🌿

At Huggy’s Bar, each Burger is customisable to fulfil your wildest wishes! Do you dream of eating a Magic Tom in a veggie version? It’s possible! 🤤 Change the sauce, add onion rings, remove the pickles (even if it’s a crime, and we explain why ici), everything is possible!

From our founders, Thomas and Roberto, to our local partners, to our way of communicating, and even on your plates with our Liège Burger with the Blondie, the Liège spirit is felt at Huggy’s Bar! 🤤 It is also our absolute pride to be an ambassador of Liège products and know‑how throughout Belgium and maybe soon internationally! 💪

Even though Huggy’s is constantly expanding, the Cité Ardente will remain the starting point of a great adventure. So obtaining the title of Liégeois of the Year will only prove once again that we are true people of Liège, and proud of it!
