Do you remember? After an enriching and passionate meeting with Etienne Bouillon we partnered with the Belgian Owl distillery to produce an exceptional whisky – a barrel signed The Huggy’s Bar!
Who better than a passionate artisan based in the heart of Hesbaye, in love with our terroir and offering an exceptional product (Belgian Owl whisky, a multi‑award‑winning spirit renowned worldwide) for a long‑term collaboration? Exactly – only Etienne could fill this role!
“This collaboration and this whisky are both a celebration and a symbol of what we have achieved so far. It is also a true ode to all epicureans, burger fans and spirits lovers!” co‑founder Thomas tells us.
The Whisky Belgian Owl X The Huggy’s Bar
In concrete terms, our whisky will be 60 months – that is, 5 years – old when it reaches maturity. We will therefore celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Huggy’s Bar (yes, you read that right…) with its bottling, scheduled for September 2022!
You’ll be able to buy a bottle of Whisky Belgian Owl X The Huggy’s Bar in our restaurants (needless to say it will be a limited edition 🙄) or come and taste it paired with the burger of your choice – or better yet, the Belgian Owl Burger, which will return as the Burger of the Month for the occasion! Liège, Brussels, Charleroi or Namur: across our 11 establishments you’ll have the choice 🍔🥃
