New beer: the Bacon THBeer

Hello Burger Fans,

During these long months of closure we never gave up – quite the opposite! What better time than a lockdown to think, test and develop a totally new product?

For a long time we had this crazy idea to create a beer made with real slices of bacon 🥓. Which bacon? The very bacon from our burgers, of course! The bacon used in our burgers thus travelled from the kitchen to the brewery…

We already had a complete range of house beers, the THBeers: a pils, a fruit beer, an IPA, the famous amber THBeer… We wanted to add a completely new beer even more closely linked to our offer, a beer that you could only find at the Huggy’s Bar – a beer that burger fans would fight over. And we think… we’ve done it 💪

As usual, our loyal friends at Brasserie C were more than UP for it! But it wasn’t easy: fat and beer don’t mix well. Fortunately Renaud and François have more than one trick up their sleeve: “To counter the lack of foam and obtain a beautiful head, we have a little secret technique. The bacon brings a fragrance and a taste to this blond beer, it’s a roaring success!”

The result is a unique bacon‑flavoured blond beer, brewed in small batches. It pairs perfectly with our burgers – you could say it’s our new Beer Pairing star. Hurry up and taste it, because once the bottles are gone there won’t be any more!
