The incredible story of the Magic Tom!

Ahh… The Magic Tom! You’ve tasted it at least once in your life!

It is obviously an unmissable Burger on our menu, because if you didn’t know yet, its name refers to the first name of one of Huggy’s Bar’s two founders; Thomas. In fact, “Magic Tom” is his nickname and so we owe him this magic Burger.

It has been our best‑seller since the very beginning, surely thanks to its simplicity and at the same time its indulgence with our much‑coveted cheese croquette!

Do you know the incredible story of the Magic Tom Burger?

We love to tell that, on a sunny day, Thomas was quietly eating a Bacon Burger outdoors… When suddenly a cheese croquette fell from the sky, along with a shower of black pepper, and rained down onto this most ordinary burger – the Bacon Burger. It was like a meteorite, but much tastier…

And boom… the Magic Tom Burger was born!

But for you, faithful Burger Fans, we’ll tell the truth and nothing but the truth… The story is far less extraordinary; it is simply a recipe from Thomas, who systematically added a cheese croquette whenever he cooked a Burger at home. And yes, even before creating Huggy’s Bar, the founders were crazy about cooking and especially burgers, and used to treat their friends and family.

Since the time when Thomas cooked this burger at home, the recipe has evolved a lot; to offer you the holy grail of indulgent, cheese‑dripping burgers! We even shared part of the recipe a few years ago, but it has been refined since… Sorry not sorry, we won’t reveal the croquette recipe – we’ll keep that secret a little longer.
