Raclette or Tartiflette: the duel

It’s not a trend, it’s not a rumour, it’s not a fantasy… it’s a certainty at Huggy’s: you love burgers with LOTS of cheese 🧀🧀🧀! From the Big Cheesy Cheeseburger to the Magic Tom’s cheese croquette, your extra Cheddar and those crispy cheesy jalapenos for starters… when it comes to cheese, the queue is ALWAYS long!

And in the history of Burgers of the Month, since time immemorial it’s the Raclette Burger that sits on the top step of the podium: indulgent and very cheesy, every winter it’s the same story. It steals the show from all our other burgers! Full of Savoie cheese, ultra‑gourmet and always homemade, it seems even better when delivered by Deliveroo or Takeaway.com! It reminds us of cosy evenings with friends, at a chalet in the mountains or simply on the sofa watching the snow fall (yes, we’re getting carried away). In short: pure comfort food!

Then came the day when the Tartiflette Burger, its cousin, joined the Huggy’s Bar menu. A sensational recipe with caramelised onions, bacon, white wine and of course Reblochon galore (see what we did there?). It was almost certain it would hit the right spot! That was in late 2017 and given your enthusiasm we’ve been obliged to bring it back every year (under threat of salty complaints 😁). And now it’s gaining serious ground… Could the most popular Burger of the Month be losing its top status? Time will tell…
