
Wagyu, legendary Japanese beef
Hello Burger Fans. You know us – in less than a month it’s Christmas! And when we say Christmas we think of presents on the one hand but also (and above all): “We’re going to eat more than we should!” 😀 (We’re like that, what can we say…)
So before embarking on all the holiday diets, we invite you to come and indulge at a Huggy’s restaurant in December. You can discover our limited edition burger made with Wagyu, the mythical Japanese beef. This exceptional meat is renowned for its marbled texture and incomparable flavour. In collaboration with breeder Hof Van Ossel we’ve chosen a piece of Wagyu to prepare your patty. The burger is accompanied by pan‑fried courgettes and homemade waffle chips, and you can even replace any burger patty with Wagyu (for a supplement).
What is Wagyu? It’s a breed of Japanese cattle whose meat is marbled with fine intramuscular fat that melts during cooking, giving it a melt‑in‑the‑mouth texture. The animals are raised with great care and respect, fed with cereals and massaged to ensure even fat distribution. A real delicacy!
