NEW MENU – Part 2: the cocktails
Hello Burger Fans,
We told you last week: our new Happy Endings didn’t come alone to brighten up our menu. As promised, this week we’re going to zoom in on our new little wonders.
Gin & Beer cocktails
Our mixologists have combined our house beers with gin to create three surprising cocktails. The WHITE CUCUMBEER perfectly marries Bruges white beer, Bombay Sapphire gin and cucumber – ideal to kick off the summer. We can already picture ourselves sipping it on a Huggy’s Bar terrace, sunglasses on and burger in hand.
The THBEER GIN is a mix of THBEER, Bombay Sapphire gin and salted caramel (yes, really!). For this original combination, we enhance the roasted malt of the beer with a touch of salted caramel. Served ice cold in a showy glass, here’s a strong, authentic cocktail that reflects our house.
The SWEET RED is the clever blend of a Liefmans fruit beer, Bombay Sapphire gin and grapefruit. It’s sure to be popular with the ladies, thanks in particular to its red colour, but will equally seduce our bad boys with its fruity character mixed with the dry aroma of gin. The new trendy aperitif at THB!
By the way… Do you know the origin of gin?
Gin comes from England, right? WRONG!
It’s Dutch! Gin was invented in 1550 by the doctor Franciscus Sylvius in the Netherlands and was originally a medicinal drink to which juniper berries were added, known for relieving kidney ailments. (Not so different from our good old peket, then, gin ;))
Our new menu also introduces original beer cocktails without gin, like the THBPils Spritz with its touch of elderflower, or the Black Berry which combines Blackie stout with blackberry liqueur and lemon. And for those who prefer alcohol‑free drinks, our homemade iced teas and lemonades will keep you refreshed all summer long.
So which cocktail will you try first? Come discover them in our restaurants and tell us your favourite!
