Ecology, we’re thinking about it!

Hello Burger Fans,

1. We work with local products.

Notre boucher Marc, Pascal our Liège market gardener or Pirnay the ice cream maker can testify: they’re all local! This choice not only keeps our local producers in business, it also allows us to offer short supply chains, thereby minimizing our ecological footprint. A winning combination!

2. Packaging yes, but eco‑friendly above all!

Did you know? We’ve completely eliminated individual coffee packaging, which is extremely polluting and short‑lived, and replaced it with milk served in small glass bottles, a pretty sugar bowl and a delicious Speculoos served loose. In the same vein, we now make our own whipped cream: goodbye aerosols! Our plastic straws have given way to sugar‑cane straws, our salads are now served in cardboard boxes, and we use wooden cutlery for take‑away orders. Even our cups have been redesigned to reduce single‑use plastic.

3. The THB Bar

At The Huggy’s Bar we serve our beers in proper glasses rather than disposable cups. The same goes for our THB Pils and THBeer cocktails. We want to combine pleasure with responsibility, and that goes for our drinks too!

4. Brussels Ketjep in bulk

Our delicious sauces from Brussels Ketjep are now served in rechargeable bottles rather than individual sachets. This reduces waste and allows you to enjoy as much Dallas or Cowboy sauce as you like without polluting!

In short, ecology is not just a trend at Huggy’s Bar; it’s a commitment. By choosing local suppliers, reducing packaging and favouring reusable materials, we’re doing our bit for the planet while continuing to spoil you.
