
The Cheddar at Huggy’s Bar
The Huggy’s Bar is something of a temple of Cheddar.
Burger too, mind you! But Cheddar is in 2nd place in the race for the most important ingredient in a gourmet Burger (you know, just after quality meat)! Besides, did you know that out of our 43 gourmet Burgers, 25 are made with Cheddar (counting the Challenge Burger)? That’s a fact.

For the past few weeks, we’ve replaced our longtime Cheddar with a true artisanal Cheddar, straight from Somerset in England. Produced for hundreds of years in the purest tradition by a family of enthusiasts, this cheese is THE ultimate reference in exceptional Cheddar.
Their list of accolades is impressive (just take a look at their site), and our tasting sessions only confirmed what we already knew: Wyke Cheddar was THE yellow/orange nugget that was missing from our gourmet Burgers 🧀 (Have you noticed that this emoji IS Cheddar?!)
Soft and flavourful, smooth with crunchy bits, Wyke Cheddar has been rewarded many times, and the family has even earned the reputation of “maker of the best Cheddar” in the world of cheesemakers. No wonder it’s now on the menu of our ten burger restaurants!
